The Crux Easton Wind Engine is situated at OS Map ref: SU 425 564, one mile off the A343 between Highclere and Hurstbourne Tarrant.

FROM M4

Exit 13 on to A34 Newbury By-pass. Exit (approx. 7 miles) signed Highclere and Wash Common. Turn right at roundabout on to A343. Through Highclere pass the Yew Tree Inn on the right, continue uphill and take the left fork (signposted Crux Easton) passing to the left of the square house. First turn right, pass the "no through road" sign, pass farm and the Manor House - the wind engine is on the left at the crossroads.

FROM M3

Exit 8 on to A303. Second exit on to A34 towards Newbury. Approx. 7 miles and take the Litchfield exit, turning left at the top of the slip road. Follow signs (through Woodcott) to Crux Easton (approx. 5 miles). Final turn left, pass the "no through road" sign, pass farm and the Manor House - the wind engine is on the left at the crossroads.
